Chia Seeds


Chia seeds are an excellent source of calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, boron, niacin. They slow the breakdown of carbohydrates into sugars, add fibre to improve elimination, and help lower cholesterol and are known to be good for energy and endurance. Chia seeds are the richest vegetable source for heart healthy essential omega 3 fatty acids.

I use chia seeds in Julia's Best Ever Almond Butter and Julia's Best Ever Crunchy Almond Butter.
